Another Prog metal release. This albums is a very nice prog metal surprise. The album starts with an excellent song called The End Of The World (more than 10'), in which we cans discover the nice female voice of Mastermind's singer. This is the first time I hear from this band and I'm nicely surprised by this album. They play a very melodic and original prog metal style with strong technical guitar parts ! The female vocalist is bringing some more originality to this band, she's a good singer and she capture the listeners attention with the ambiance that her voice creates. Guitars are married with keyboards like they should for a prog band. Songs a pretty long, usually 6 minutes to more than 12 for the second "long" song (very nice one actually !). This album is perfect for ambiance ... put it when you want to let your imagination fly. The album is rich in matter of different atmospheres... from Arabian to Latin passing by several different ones. Interesting song writing, but some guitar moments can however be annoying to my opinion. A good album for all prog metal fans.
