Hail, Hail, Hail ... Tierra Santa is back !!!

After the wonderful Tierras De Leyenda (2000), the Spanish band is back with a fantastic new record called Sangre De Reyes. I really appreciate this band, because they sing in Spanish, their mother language. It makes them sound fresh and different from other bands. At the end, it also gives them another dimension ... even though I still not understand a single word (I didn't have the time to learn Spanish this last 12 months).

Just one year later, Tierra Santa return with their long-expected new opus Sangre De Reyes, which beats Tierras De Leyenda, as they show here they've went through an immense process and learned a lot. This band, that I call the Spanish Iron Maiden, has added new elements which makes them sound more personal.

Tierra Santa, without changing their style at all, have focused the song-writing on developing new structures. Again, this new record is full of potential hits : Pegaso, David Y El Gigante, La Ciudad Secreta, La Sombra De La Bestia ... Playing fast riffs, delivering enormous chorus (Hammerfall), this guys are full of talent and I can only imagine what the hell is happening in Spain when they play live.

Now my little piece of advise will be this one : if you like power metal, guitars riffs going fast & being melodic at the same time and if you like Iron Maiden and/or Hammerfall, Tierra Santa is the band you are looking for. And by the way, do not forget to buy the previous one, Tierras De Leyenda, which kills neck as much as this one.

Tierra Santa Y El Gigante !!!!!
