Killing songs: All !!!
Yeeeeeeeessssssss !!!!! Metal is not dead and with such good song-writing, I'm now sure it will never die. My friends, you're in front of a killing album (the kind of one you talk ten years later). Power Metal at its best, with prog elements. Yes, Steel Prophet has confirmed its great potential. Dark Hallucination (last record) was a diamond but honestly, the comparison with Maiden was too early (in terms of quality). Polish of that diamond is now done and it's called Messiah.
First two songs are really fantastic (title's song is so fucking great, great melodic speed metal song). The overall album is like a "mutant" of Iron Maiden (voice and guitars), Iced Earth (power metal part), Queensrÿch (prog element) and Helloween (speed part). Another thing we must highlight here : Rick Mythiasin's VOICE. On first listening you will bet Bruce Dickinson is the real singer of this record. Don't count on it !!! I have seen them (opening of Gamma Ray) and Steel Prophet's singer will be recognized in near future as one of the best metal voice around. He can sing every notes he wants. Just Amazing !!! For all fans of Iron Maiden (voice and guitars solos), Helloween, Iced Earth and Queensrÿch (early years), this one is for you. We will not apply the "buy or die rule". Run to your nearest vendor and get it. "Buy or go straight to hell" !! / 100
