PROPOSED. This is representative of the Wall St group as well and does not include any of the other groups. I and countless others did not participate in this. Also any of these proposals can be shot down in the General Assembly if somebody declares themselves morally opposed to it. You're going to have a lot of lefty hippy bullshit but that can be reigned in by how conservative the group is or chooses to be. It just becomes their political goals, open-ended directions not hostage situation demands.
On that note, let's look at what you reject. Six hour workdays results in a 30 hour week. France is at what a 35 hour week and the US is at 40. Those ten hours cut from three individuals' week of work creates one extra job. The reigning in of how much a salary can top out at would pay for those extra positions and raises required to make 30 hours a liveable wage. 5x the minimum wage is strict in terms of wages. 20x is probably more feasible but 20x is way better than the 470x which it reaches currently, no?
Retirement at 55 is dumb. I actually think retirement should increase unless at 55 people begin taking on jobs better suited to them such as babysitting children or something. Retirement is 65 because that was a year or two before the average death rate of the time. People spent two years on social security if they were lucky, not the average 15 years we have now due to increased life expectancies.
Banning of land ownership is kinda fucking utopian and is a challenge to property rights and just won't fly. I would be much more happy about the advocating of public spaces as public.
Abolition of life imprisonment. Doesn't Norway restrict sentences to 21 years? Are Norwegians more enlightened than us? Why is this problematic?
