So now anon is hacking and shutting down finance companies who refuse to process donations to wikileaks. Mastercard is the biggest target so far. Mastercard.com was still down last I checked. Umm the bigger issue is that people may have had to pay their bills while the site was down and I'm sure Mastercard won't be forgiving of people whose bills were due today. So maybe anon just made Mastercard some more money due to late fees on people. And yeah I've been in the position where if I didn't have a credit card I wouldn't have been able to eat that day but whatev.

I have no idea of the exact damage done. Say it was shut down for an hour, during which time the company lost a certain amount of profit. Are they now going to shrug, say 'shit happens' and carry on, or will customer fees and bills be bumped up a little to cover it? The sheer naivety of people is astonishing - this isn't a Disney film. There will be no happy ending where the eeevil corporations realise their wrongdoing and amend their ways. And attacking the site of the lawyer for the alleged victims is just ridiculous, what's the justification for that?

Anon is responsible for the ddos attack. I don't think those card numbers are real but even if they are, it is not the common fellow that joined this cause who stole them. Such a huge company like that does not record personal info on some stupid website, you know. It takes some real hacking to do something like that, not running a ddos program which really can be done by a 5 year old.

No one is trying to bring down these evil corps dude. Relax. This has nothing to do with that. We're not gonna change the world by sitting on our asses.
