The Morning After definitely has some killer songs, especially the title track. But I feel Chemical Invasion is better from beginning to end and is the rawest and meanest form of Tankard that ever existed.

If you want rawer old school sound try Chemical Invasion, Morning After, Meaning of Life. For newer "cleaner" sounding try Beast of Bourbon, Thirst, or The Beauty and the Beer.

Honorable mentions to B-Day, Zombie Attack, or The Tankard.

But in reality, you can start anywhere and get the general idea of what they have to offer.

No, not at all. I've had thrash in my metal diet since the arrival of 'the big 4' in the 80s'. Tankard is obviously very good at what they do however, Tankard is similar to AC/DC in that they know their identity and they stick with a working formula. Which is great for them but I was becoming a little bored with it. Besides, my days of moshing about to songs of wild women and boozing is long over...unfortunately.

I gave Chemical invasion an ear yesterday while watching the Olympic swimming contest, and stopped listening to hear the commentaries. Not a good sign.

Hadn't listened to this in years and forgot how awesome it was. Gnarly breakdowns in nearly every track with Priest worship laced throughout it. I was pleasantly surprised.
