What exactly do you think makes this skinhead music" and he goes "Only skinheads could be angry enough to listen to actually enjoy this music."It really got to me, not only because his logic was retarded, but also because of the obvious implication that I don't actually enjoy extreme music and listen to it as an image thing. (The implication is obvious because I've known this guy for years and he knows I'm no skinhead.)It's pretty insulting. Like, I can understand if someone else's interests seem uncool to you, but to be completely and utterly unable to even understand that its possible for someone to genuinly like something you think is trash....well, it speaks of quite serious ignorance.Anyway, to cut a long ramble short, it kind of made me appreciate you guys. That is all.

that's some ignorant bullshit. my response would be why do skinheads have a monopoly on anger? Idk if skinheads are a big deal in Australia but where I'm from they're around and that's a pretty inane comment to make. but seriously the harvest floor is fucking awesome. all of those tunes are just as catchy as deathgrind can get. next, get monolith of inhumanity. it might be better albeit a kinda creative leap in vox that makes the albums hard to compare. they're both great yet different. get on that shit.

Okay, I know I post this picture like twice a month. But I'm starting to believe this is the best album ever made (to me). I've been listening to it for like 10 years now, and it's still insanely fresh and awesome in every way. I can't name another album that has achieved this (again, for me). Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are dozens, but I just can't name a single one right now.

Yeah, when I went out to the shop, I wanted to grab Monolith of Humanity, based on Zad's review, but they didn't have it. They had The Harvest Floor, and I remembered Zad's Monolith review said it was also pretty excellent so I picked it up instead.

On the strength of it, definitely gonna get Monolith as well.

The first two Yes albums are better than given credit for. I love Peter Banks' guitar playing and Tony Kaye has a rootsier, warmer way on the keyboards that Wakeman. Two gems, really.
