Films watched recently... (CAUTION, SPOILERS)

One more minor complaint is that I wish GERTY had been more involved in the film. I was expecting a HAL-type character. Other than that, the film is beautiful in many, many ways.

I've never seen the movie but i found the book to be quite decent, not the best of King's work but farily enjoyable.

Maybe previous Sam's experienced similar scenarios that our Sam went through and as more clones were made the memory remained... Maybe not though. I want that Q&A.

Takers - Cliched but entertaining heist movie, lots of action. There's a great bit where a kid on a bike gets blown up, and no-one cares.

That movie is pretty bad. But yeah, the best parts are all in the trailer. The sweary old demon lady was a fun bit though.

The King's Speech - quite good but nowhere near as awesome as people say. i am yet to see most other oscar candidates, but they're probably better than this.

hopefully confirming that today, want to watch Black Swan or True Grit, even if i go by myself.

True Grit is awesome. Don't pay too much attention to the story though. It's all about the charachters.

I have yet to see True Grit, but I can't decide between Black Swan and The King's Speech. They're both excellent, but for very different reasons. Colin Firth had the awkward mannerisms of a Royal down pat, and Rush presented his character amazingly. I think Black Swan has the edge just for the imagery.

True Grit. BORING. there, i said it.

fucking hell, never watching a Coen brothers movie again. Big Lebowski was good but not the legend people make it out to be, Burn After Reading was absolutely fucking terrible, and this one was plainly boring. sure some nice dialogues here and there, but for all i know it's from the book or the other movie. everything else was dead BORING.

Big Lebowski is one of the most overrated films of all time.

True Grit boring?! Burn After Reading horrible?! I don't even know what to say. They're not masterpieces, but they're a lot better than a lot of shit you get to see these days.
