Thanks for the suggestions! I'm definitely going to check out Vargtimmen and Skammen, they both sound right up my alley.

I came across a few more today that seemed like they might be interesting. One of them that I'm checking out is called Ond Tro (Bad Faith). The reviews seemed interesting, so see how that goes as well.

Bergman is great. Don't know that many Swedish films but Let the Right One in was good.

Also second on Korean films. The more I see them the more I love them. I recommend watching anything by Chan Wook Park. If you've seen Oldboy you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, and I'm telling you all, GO AND WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!

One good director doesn't make much of a difference. I'm from Sweden and everyone I know avoids the shitty films that are made here.

The Professional. I hadn't seen it in a while so I forgot about how much it portrayed her wanting to have a romantic relationship with him and I forgot totally about the scenes where she does on-the-job training.

Aw, really? I was looking forward to that one, the concept seemed interesting.

It was REALLY silly. Very hard to take seriously. It was like they were trying to do an Inception/Matrix-style movie, just without any real stakes. There were so many cringeworthy moments and absolutely no cool scenes at all.

The only good thing about it was Emily Blunt.

So yeah, don't waste your time.

Not nearly as good as the first, but enjoyable. I fucking HATED the ending, though.

Saw the Black Swan without actually planning/wanting to. Given the fact that Aronofsky seems to have completely changed direction with the films he's become involved with (The Wrestler and The Fighter) to something I wasn't very impressed by, I was pretty sceptical about it. But then the trailer made it seem like maybe he was doing a return to form/Pi and Requiem days.

Bleh, not at all. The ending of the Black Swan was pretty predictable but still kind of cool...but the rest of the movie was too bland and typical Hollywood.

I saw Adjustment Bureau when it first came out and dunno...it could have been a cool movie but I hate it when potentially good action flics are marred by a romantic plot. Kinda ruined it for me.

Got a hold of Vargtimmen. Gonna watch it tomorrow.

The Lord of the Rings (extended), for the umpteenth time. That "My friends, you bow to no one" scene fucking chokes me every time.

Also, Pitch Black. My first Vin Diesel flick, actually. It was OK. Oh no I forgot, I have also seen Babylon AD. It was crap.

I'm gonna watch Salinui chueok, which was recommended here.
