Scolari is useless. sometimes he makes wrong decisions (and is criticized for it by fans and the media) but holds on to them just to show that he's the one that makes the decisions, and he has his "holy cows" that he won't put off the pitch for ANYTHING.
some people think he's really good because he was world champion with brazil, but yeah, if i had cafu, roberto carlos, gilberto silva, edmilson, rivaldo, ronaldo and ronaldinho, dunno why, I THINK I'D WIN THE WORLD CUP TOO. fuck him.
i blame him for Portugal's defeat at home to Greece in the Euro 2004 final. he's the one that INSISTED on using Pauleta, who in 5 or 6 games scored a staggering 0 (zero) goals, missing tons of great chances in every match, when he had Nuno Gomes who proved his worth in Euro 2000 and again in 2004 when he scored against Spain, and Costinha, who simply sucks ass, and is the one that let Charisteas through to score the fatal goal in the final.
btw, Pauleta is terribly overrated. for his shitty little club in France he scores like 2 goals per game, but for Portugal he scores shit. he's Portugal's best ever in terms of goals, but fact is half of his goals were against teams like Kuwait and Liechtenstein (oh he put 4 past Kuwait's keeper! teh skill!1!!), plus he's nearing (maybe he's even past) 100 caps. i can't remember his last goal against a good team. it's an insult to Eusébio that this guy has more goals than him. god dammit i hate Pauleta. Nuno Gomes isn't that good either, but fact is when Portugal needed a goal he almost always provided.
fuck Scolari. as far as i'm concerned, you can take him and keep him.
