My blood boils every time I see that blowhard piece of shit Bill O'Reilly, yet I can't help myself from watching anyway. If you haven't seen the clip of Bill O'Reilly vs. Al Franken on BookTV from C-Span, you should check it out, it's hilarious.

Two things I loved to hate in that clip. One, as you already said, is O'Lie-ly blaming 9/11 for the increase in joblessness. Typical extreme right-wing bullshit, using 9/11 as a crutch.

"How can you justify Bush's dirty politics?"
"Well...uh...you know...there's uh...OMGZ 9/11!!!111!!!!"

Also, O'Reilly for the 1,000,000th time claiming that Fox News is half liberal/half conservative. It's especially funny when they post the statistics on the screen. Also, in typical fashion, Alan Colmes is one of the two liberal figureheads he points to when making this argument. Ha! The good thing is, if Colmes were to die anytime soon, they could tie him to a chair with strings attached to his arms (Weekend at Bernie's style), and Hannity and Colmes would look identical to the way it does now.

This weekend a friend of mine was nice enough to invite me to come to her family's house in northern New Jersey (Jew country) for Passover. I should hope not. The first thing I thought when I saw that (besides "What in the blue hell???") was "Good Lord, they're going to break their necks." Sex is all well and good, but that would be a terribly ignominous way to die.

Of course, then I saw road head on the way home. Less of a chance of death, but if things go wrong...well, I'd feel quite sorry for him.

Milk Seg: Standard chocolate orange, creamy yet tangy 🙂

Crunch Seg: Tangier than the milk seg, yet the "honeycomb pieces" left a bizarre taste, not unlike fish dipped in custard

Double Seg: A milk seg with a layer of dark chocolate underneath, which made a slighrt drop in creamyness

Crisp Seg: with Rice Krispies! Ok, a bit unstubstantial for my taste

Speckle Seg: containg tiny bits of cornflake. After eating the chocolate, the flakes were left in your mouth. It was like gargling with razorblades! I swear to God, I could taste blood.

I'm sorry, I haven't had a good night's sleep in a long, long time :mellow:

As much as you may hear the folks on fox news scream about how there is a psychotic liberal army of journalists tryign to overthrow the government with there soy and bean curd and maybe a filafel, there really isn't lleft wing anything.

Yes, the main thing that bothers me is the fact that in some cases being left wing is defined in terms of being in opposition to Bush and the war, not the actual positions you may have. Hence, someone can be centrist on a lot of key economic issues, but if they are against the war then they are defined as being "left wing". And unfortunately it also seems that there is a knee jerk fear of the left in many places, simply because of cultural associations built up over decades. It's like there's only a tiny gap between the Democratic party and Lenin...

Well from what I've seen the left wing news stations are pretty lame because all they relentlessly rip into everything about the Republicans that they can... they're just better than Fox because they're right most of the time 😛
