A little bit of movement in the NHL today:
Edmonton Oilers traded goalie Mathieu Garon to the Pittsburgh Penguins for goalie Dany Sabourin, centre Ryan Stone and a 4th round pick in 2011.
Also,
The New York Islanders after losing Rick DiPietro for the season, signed goalie Wade Dubielewicz. Dubielewicz use to play for the Islanders, but then bolted to the KHL after nobody signed him this past summer. He got out of his KHL contract and re-signed with the Islandres. But since he played in a league outside of the NHL he had to clear waivers, and he didn't. The Columbus Blue Jackets claimed him. That now gives Columbus 3 goalies, and there has been a lot of rumors lately about Pascal Leclaire getting traded out of Columbus.
So yeah, that's the small moves that have happened. At least something has happened, it was getting too boring.
Can't wait for the trade deadline.
