Holy shit. That show is great. The Irish guy with the scars on his face. He was given those scars in Ireland by Ira members. I can't remember why or what happened exactly. You can google it. I think it is on his wiki page.That's crazy though. The guy who died was the prospect right?
Chibs on the show. The actor is Tommy Flanagan, a Scottish guy whose scars are the result of a Glasgow Smile, where the cheeks are cut. This is different from a Glasgow Kiss, which is heabutting someone, and a Chelsea Smile, which is sticking a credit card in a guy's mouth and then punching it so it splits open the sides of the mouth.Some parts of Scotland can get pretty rough, needless to say, and Flanagan simply found himself on the wrong street at the wrong time.
Is that the story that he got it from some random incident on a rough street? It wasn't retaliation for something? And he is honestly one of the coolest guys on the show.

Chibs got his scars from Jimmy O'Fallon, the corrupt IRA dude. Tommy Flanagan got his scars from a street incident.

The first season doesn't do the rest of the show justice, it gets WAY better.

Seriously, I also used to watch that show when I was a kid (dubbed in French it was even more atrocious believe me, but I liked the girls) so to me it's branded "KID STUFF". I'm not comfortable with sexualizing kid stuff.

Although I didn't mind when Show Girls came out a few years later... 😃

yep that was the issue. id get three or four episodes into the first season and i just didnt get it. ill force my way threw it if season 2 is better though.
