Try Berserk Kathy, you will not regret it. The anime series is incomplete, but the manga is incredible long, been out for 10 years and still going. Anime covers from chapter 3 to 13, and there are more than 30 anime chapters or volumes. 100% gore, awesome history line, guts and organs flying all over the place. I like to read this manga with some good medieval black metal as background music .

Berserk does kicks some serious ass, another one that is incomplete and kick ass too is Gantz.

It's hard to say which one's my favorite. Pierrot Le Fou is a fucking badass episode, and so are the two Jupiter Jazz ones. The Mushroom Samba episode is pretty awesome too.

And again, the soundtrack is amazing. The jazz is so authentic, it's amazing.

I watched two episodes. Didn't enjoy it but I usually don't enjoy tv scifi.

So I just watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer's first episode in my Women and Pop Culture course. I so badly want to start watching that show again. I never finished seeing the last season either. I kinda hope the seasons are cheap nowadays.

If I were you, I'd watch the Pilot and a few other plot central episodes from season 1, and then start watching consistently from season 2 on.

Trapt: The DVDs seem to go on sale here all the time for 19.99 a pop. Not bad at all.

Buffy doesn't really hit it's stride until mid-Season 2. All of Whedon's shows have rough patches until he figures out just where he wants to go with it. Angel was pretty bad when it first started too, but got a lot better as it went on.

I just bought all three seasons of Arrested Development, the second season of Dexter and the first season of Burn Notice. And My Name is Bruce. I haven't seen the first season of Burn Notice but so far it is as awesome as the second season.
