Whats to moderate? One thing Steve has right: the forum is on life-support.
There is more spambot traffic than actual post activity on any given day here.

And the ones that do usually just talk about their last night out or whatever romantic intrigues they have going on anyway.

The forum was on life support long before Steve's episodes. I think the posting started to really slow down in late 2011. I still read the reviews and the now playing and the occasionally updated band news thread...that is better than nothing.

I read the reviews, as well, but it's rare that there are any that I am actually interested in.

So i was at a local church today to hear a guy i read an interview with a few years back speak about how he managed to turn his life around from being called Norway's most dangerous man to a sweet and gentle soul. This guy was HARDCORE...he dealt with drugs, collected money, extortion etc. I'm glad he found God because i would not like to have met him in his heyday, anyway to turn this into something metal related.

There was this guy who sang at the service who had an amazing voice and i thought to myself "this guy sounds exactly like Roy Khan from who used to sing for Kamelot" so i talked to the guy afterwards and wouldn't you know it IT WAS HIM! He had cut his hair and was bald so i didn't recognize him until i talked to the guy. Apparently he felt compelled to come to my hometown and that church. Kinda random but fun running into Roy and talking to him, he's really nice and cool guy. I may keep coming back to that church considering who singing there 😃

A couple interesting ones a week is enough for me. Most people got older, lost interest, or just moved on: I don't think anything could have been changed.

I don't think I was being obtuse at all; it was a joke that followed the logic of your own grammar. If I was to come across some funk, I would just let the person know; the advertisement wasn't really speaking to how I have ever operated. How do you just lose interest in metal? I've never really imagined myself just moving on, it's in the blood. I believe we discussed this at one point, you and I.
That still doesn't account for the lack of fresh blood, though,
Oh, well, I ain't complaining, it is fine how it is.
Need more people into black, doom and old school stuff, though.
