Hatebreed signs with Nuclear Blast and Razor & Tie

Connecticut hardcore/metal masters Hatebreed have inked a European deal with Nuclear Blast Records. North America will be handled by Razor & Tie. The band's new album was co-produced by Hatebreed, Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Suicide Silence, All That Remains, Shadows Fall) and Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold) and is scheduled for release in January. Wilbur also handled mixing duties on the CD, which will be supported by extensive global touring that will stretch well into 2014.

Misery Index/Pig Destroyer drummer forms new project

Misery Index and Pig Destroyer drummer Adam Jarvis has launched a brand new project called Fulgora. The group, which also features guitarist/vocalist B.L. LaMew and bassist John Jarvis, has just released a song called Risen (audio stream available here), which will be released later this year on a seven-inch single, also including the track Artifice.

Risen was mixed and mastered by Adam's Pig Destroyer bandmate Scott Hull.

Fulgora's full-length debut is tentatively due next year.

Paradox reveal new album details

German metallers Paradox will release their new album, Tales of the Weird, on December 14 via AFM Records. The CD was produced by Paradox mainman Charly Steinhauer and was mixed and mastered by Victor Bullok (a.k.a. V. Santura; Tryptikon, Dark Fortress) at Woodshed Studio in Landshut, Germany.

Daylight Dies release new music video

Dreaming of Breathing, the new video from Daylight Dies, can be seen here. The clip was filmed by Ramon Boutviseth, who previously worked with the band on the Lies That Bind clip.

Dreaming of Breathing comes off Daylight Dies' new album, A Frail Becoming, which will be released in North America on October 9 via Candlelight Records. Mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Katatonia, Devin Townsend), the CD features photography from Jonathan Mehring and packaging design by Agni Kaster.

Entire new Coheed and Cambria album available for streaming

The Afterman: Ascension, the new album from New York progressive rockers Coheed and Cambria, can be streamed in its entirety here.

The Afterman will be released in two separate full-length volumes. The first volume, The Afterman: Ascension, will be available on both physical and digital platforms in the U.S. on October 9 via Hundred Handed/Everything Evil, and distributed through Fontana/Ingrooves (to be available in Canada via Universal Music Canada). The second volume, The Afterman: Descension, is due in February 2013.

New System Divide song available for streaming

Ephemera, a brand new song from the extreme metal formation System Divide — featuring members of Fear Factory and Aborted — can be streamed here. The track's release coincides with the start of the band's North American tour with Epica, Alestorm and Insomnium. The single was mixed by producer Pete Rutcho (The Ghost Inside, Revocation, Bury Your Dead) and serves as teaser for System Divide's upcoming second full-length album, due out on Metal Blade Records in 2013.

Ashes You Leave to release new album

Croatian doom/gothic metallers Ashes You Leave will release their sixth full-length album, The Cure for Happiness, on November 29 via Rock N Growl Records. The CD, which was laid down at G.I.S. studios with producer Matej Zec, marks Ashes You Leave's first recording with singer Giada "Jade" Etro, who hails from Italy.

Cult of Luna announce new album and European tour

Swedish "art rockers" Cult of Luna will release their first studio album in five years, Vertikal, in early 2013. The CD is said to be thematically influenced by the film Metropolis, a hypnotic backdrop of machinery and repetition.

Cult of Luna will launch a European headlining tour on January 17 in Hamburg, Germany.

War from a Harlot's Mouth release new lyric video
