This is by far Death Angel's best release. Back when thrashing was the only thing on their mind.....well the drummer was probably still playing with GI Joe's at this point...which is pretty incredible seeing as how he thrashes a great deal.

Agreed.. This album rules incredibly, and is the only Death Angel release really worth buying.

it is a very good thrash album... perhaps one of best! however, when it comes to Death Angel, I always have a preference for ActIII...

and my rate for Ultraviolence? 93/100

I also like Act III the best. I used to have Ultra Violence but got rid of it years ago. This band has gotten better with each release.

yeah ! and The Art of Dying is a great heavy/thrash album too.. not up to ActIII imo but way better than most of the similar productions...

\Eh....I'm looking for large amounts of thrashing...and the Ultra-Violence is the only one that delivers. Act III is pretty good, but it doesnt thrash the way I'd want it to.

I love this CD. One of my favorite in the thrash style. Few bands compare to the energy and intensity on this release. Essential thrash.

so, as i'm not looking specially for thrashing madness while listening to Death Angel, is it okay if I like ActIII best or is it just another proof of my awful taste ?
