Ceeppari or seeppari is a Finnish slang word for retard. Edessä means ahead in Finnish. So it would translate to "Retards ahead!"

Ceeppare framför is the same in Swedish (which is the other official language in Finland).

"framför" actually means "in front of".

"ceeppare" doesn't mean anything in Swedish at all. So it seem as quite a dumb attempt at translating I'd guess. (Allthough, 'CP'[Each letter pronounced] is used as slang for retard, however, we wouldn't say 'ceeppare', but CPn.)

Well, i quess they fucked up the swedish translation. Or it could be that it's the finlandssvensk way of saying it. Finlandssvenska is pretty different from riksvenska.

The word ceeppari/seeppari comes from the letters CP, btw.

Yeah, 'ceeppari' sounds like they've tried to convey in letters, how we pronounce CP.

I figured it was some wierd finnish thing, I'm just saying it ain't Swedish, ;)

I prefer separi too. But a lot of people use seeppari. Go figure.

Because the band is retarded. You can fairly wear that shirt when facing CoB perform live.

No, they are showing their respect for retards, unlike most bands which treat them as dirt. Children Of Bodom are Trve Finnish Warriors of Retvrdation.
