Vocals sounding like Geddy Lee? If anything, the music sounds like older Rush at times. As for the vocals, he sounds alot like Brian Johnson of AC/DC.

ah, the Geddy Lee thing wasn't a direct comparison, I was referring to the tendency to use high notes as emphasis for certain words rather than sticking to a melody.

AC/DC's a good touchstone which I didn't think of, thanks.

Nice review, Dee. Great old school band that certainly deserves a mention here.

NP
Diablo "Mimic47"

From the samples I've heard, the music sounds great, but the vocals.... um... may require a bit of getting used to. I'll check this out in due time.

I love you, Dee.

How many times have I already said that?

My favourite of all their albums. I would've claimed it's a Classic, but nevermind; the review was as great as the album itself, so I'm not comlaining.

Thanks for all the kind words! I did consider this for classic status but Black Machine tarnishes it for me, especially as it's the second track.

This is one of my favorite bands of all time. No fucking wimpy poser shit here. No emo, no frilly shirts, and no gay vocals. Just rocking awesome heavy metal. Doomy as fuck too.

Cheers to the reviewer for having the balls to review something other than melodeth, crappy black metal, or symphonic fairy metal.

The vocals remind me of Sharon Osbourne, the music is ok, but nothing more than ok.

but considering the crap being put out now a days...I find the riffing and soloing to be excellent, and the vocals give it that mark of originality that many bands lack. They are a true gem of the under ground metal scene.

Not really a classic, not a shit. A good band, perhaps more in the 70-80 score that in the 90-100 score. I'll give a 82-85 to this one.

....no he's not. Alcatrazz sucked balls and Rainbow without Dio is a fucking waste of time.
