The game is kinda fun to watch. Has some really awesome plays. Probably the best professional all star game. The pro bowl sucks.

I agree. None of the big organizations can compete with the NBA all star game.

I wish I could say I enjoy watching the All Star game, but I can't. Half the players piss me off beyond belief and it's like watching a frikin rap video. This is my favorite sport, but it is very hard for me to watch an entire game.

Btw, the pro bowl sucks.

Anyway, about basketball. I just don't find it as entertaining as in the late 80s-early 90s when teams cared a lot more about offense than defense. I still watch the occasional sixers game though.

I like him too. I also like Nash, Tony Parker, and Tim Duncan. All of them play or played for San Antonio at one point.

Haha. Funny you should mention Ginobili, when I was playing basketball (high school) people used to call me Gino (because I look like him). My nickname is still Gino at some places. Back then he was the king of Europe and now he kicks ass in the NBA.

My favourite though is Kobe Bryant. A great overall player. And I wouldn't believe somebody could score 81 in a game if I didn't see it with my own eyes.

And I'd like to give a big "fuck you" to LeBron. The son of a bitch would sell his ass for an all star mvp. Wtf was that ? Did he give one pass in the whole first half ? McGrady totally deserved the award. It's nonsense to give the winning team the mvp award, McGrady played so much better.

I can't imagine an All Star Game without Shaq. The guy is such an entertainer, he's the best. Did you guys see his dunk from the foul line ? I was rolling on the floor laughing.

The slam dunk competiton was the best in many years. Igoudala was better, especially that behind the glass thing with Iverson but Nate did impress everyone with his dunk over Webb, man the fucker's only 1.75.

Yeah, Shaq is the fucking man. He's my favorite player and always has been. He wants to win but he doesn't take himself so seriously like some of these guys. He's so funny in interviews.

I just can't seem to get into the NBA anymore. I used to love it during the glory days of Bird, Magic, Jordan, etc. Now I think its the worst of the "big 4" of professional sports in the US.

Oh, and on topic, the All-Star Game does and will continue to suck large amounts of cock.

I don't care how good Bryant is, he is a pompous jack-ass that hopefully gets convicted the next time he is charged with sexual assualt.

Shaq is a walking quote machine.

Why? So we can get peppered ad-nauseum about how great he is for the next 15 years. I want that p.o.s. to trip up. It would make me much more inclined to get into the sport again.

He is a pompous jerk that speaks Italian. Plus he plays for the Lakers. It's quite obvious I hate the guy, I'm just surprised people are so willing to personally defend him. I thought everyone agreed he's an extraordinary player, but totally unlikeable. I'd rather root for Dwayne Wade or Shaq or the Pistons as a whole.

I hate him too. I used to like him though. I'm a huge Shaq fan, always have been, so for Kobe's first couple years I really liked him. Then when he started costing the Lakers games by throwing up ridiculous shots so he could make 1 out of 5 and get on ESPN i started to get ticked off. After the way the whole Shaq thing was handled I really can't stand him.
