This is some good stuff Ken. You're right, the music does switch styles a lot (very nicely I might add). The vocalist sounds like Twilightning's lead singer when he hits his higher notes. I have to check the rest of the songs out "Oh YEAH!!!" Nice review man.

Hahaha...that line was so stupid I had to leave it. And yes, great album. I love "Faith And Majesty," it starts out like a Journey song, but it's wicked heavy!

Not sure why the reviewer said this album was hard to find. I found a Japanese import on cduniverse.com for $13. Site says it's in stock and they are usually up to date on inventory. Obviously I bought it, but haven't gotten ship confirmation yet. Until then, the jury is still in deliberation on availability.

Well, I got my copy directly from the band, but when the band only has two copies left (none now since NESS bought the last one) I'm assuming it's hard to find. When the band says it's hard to find, I'm assuming it's hard to find. When eBay only has three available and they're Russian bootlegs, I'm assuming it's hard to find. Hahaha.

But I did just check Amazon.com and some of the sellers there have it. So maybe it's not as hard to find as I thought, but you're definitely not going to be walk into a music store and find it. I'm glad people are buying it, though. They're a damn good band.

I checked Amazon too, and saw those listings for $9. But I try to avoid their resellers...I've had some bad experiences. Next stop, cduniverse. I was shocked to see it available, brand new, for $13.

I will confirm that cduniverse.com shipped me a copy of Reigning Memories on Feb, 24, 2006. So they do have it in stock. Get it while it's hot!

Thanks for the review, Eyesore. Your review and the song samples encouraged me to buy it!

That's what I hope for when I review bands that most people won't likely hear. I like these kind of reviews better than reviewing a CD that can be found reviewed on thousands of other review sites, you know?

I hope you like the CD, let me know if there's any extra content on the import version.

I know, and thanks. I'll let you know on the import version when it gets here in the next few days.

The cd finally arrived a few days ago. There is no bonus material on it and the sticker said it was from England, not Japan. I think it's the exact same version as Japan though, Now and Then Records.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to listen to it yet. I've got company staying and I'm afraid Ion Vein would scare them off. Hmm...maybe it's about time they leave after all....

Well, my version is on Majesphere Records, the band's own label, I believe. Sucks that there's no bonus material, but it's still a great CD.

NESS, did you order yours?

Yeah, it's been sitting next to my desk for nearly a week now. I still haven't listened to it yet. I'll pop this slut in a little later tonight. I'm on a Carcass right now.
