Hey, the sample was pretty good. I'll have to be on the lookout for this CD.

I rarely push people I review, but this one deserves it. These guys from NC are awesome, and, no, I do not know anybody of them personally. Candlelightusa Records shoudl have their albums. Dismantling Devotion does not come out until March 7th, but No Reply is a couple of years old.

I looked around here about two weeks ago when I first heard the clip from the new album and couldn't find anything. I remember when I first heard that clip thinking, "Why in the world did a metalcore band go doom-death?" Hahaha. To my surprise...

They were never metalcore.

Indeed. I actually saw them several years ago supporting Katatonia. (I think, but I can't even remember...) They were doom-death then, although I'd completely forgotten about them until they resurfaced in discussions on this site.

Aren't these are one of the guys opening for Emperor? I checked them out a little while back, good stuff.

Good, I'm glad I'll be seeing a decent band open up for Emperor. This is infinitely more appropriate then a Trivium clone.

Oh...I know now. I just, for some reason, prior to hearing them thought they were metalcore-emo stuff. There must be a metalcore band with a similar name.

Love the album, definately deserves at least an 84%.
The songs sound more different from each other, as on No Reply they tended to blend. This is a plus! The new singer sounds better
and the use of clean vocals on some songs such as lies that bind are quite effective. The drumming is a notch up from last time and they were able to draw us better into the dark mood atmosphere of their songs. For exemple dead air at about 1:20, that segment is just great and it grabs my attention instantly.

Favorite track so far: Lies that binds, that song is simply perferct.
