Do you realize right that YOU are causing drama where there was none? This WAS a civil debate, a civil discussion with many people joking around in the same manner I did.

If you need to start a fight today please go somewhere else.

Please, name the people joking around in a similar manner. I don't see any.

It's silly and uncalled for, and you're lowering the level of discourse. For someone who professed the values of maturity to me more than once, that's rather hypocritical.

Sometimes you're a fucking brick wall. YOU are lowering the level of discourse, what YOU are doing is uncalled for! Get that through your head, but in case you need a dose of reality:

Quote:
Looks like it's refreshing anti-music vs catchy look-at-me-Im-a-nutter tunes, then eh?

Quote:
The way I look at it, it's a completely unreliable goofball (patton) vs. a fairly reliable goofball (Towsend).

Quote:
If Devin's such a sexual deviant. Come on, keep up.

Quote:
Patton is too much of a schizoid..

Quote:
If you like a bald man yelling, Strapping is for you.

Quote:
Adult Themes In Retard: Inspired By Mike Patton.

Nutter. Deviant. Goofball. Schizoid. Bald man. Retard.

I don't see the difference. Now can you stop the bullshit, please?

None are really insults discounting yours.

Sorry, brick wall is still up.

Nutter - See explanation for schizoid.

Deviant - A compliment coming from a metalhead.

Goofball - When was the last bleeding time you heard someone call someone else a 'goofball' as an insult? I hear it used positively all the time.

Schizoid - Arguably not an insult when put into context, considering the music the man makes it would make sense to refer to him as schizoid in a complimentary manner.

Bald man - How the fuck is 'bald' an insult?

Retard - An insult in almost any context including this one.

Go away, Aaron. You're pulling meaning from the wrong context yet again, but using the angle of "in context" to defend another comment! It's a cheap argument point and you know it. What I said was a joke just like the rest of those comments. Keep telling yourself otherwise. And go away. Thanks for ruining this thread.

By the way, Devin is winning. YAY...and stuff.

This is what every argument between you and someone else concerning something you've said goes basically like:

Eyesore: Blah blah *insulting comment* blah blah *no wink smiley to point out the fact that it's a joke like nearly everyone but him has the sense to do*
Other Person: Hey, that's insulting.
Eyesore: It's a joke, you idiot.
Other Person: Oh. Badass shoes.
Eyesore: I got them on clearance. So, who else likes leek soup?

Is a  too much to ask for on the end of a sentence that's meant as a joke and could be taken otherwise? Or a :D ? I would have felt no need to attack you had a :D or a  been on that post. It's called 'preventing a potential misunderstanding that throws the thread into a nonsense downward spiral of idiocy.'

Do I really need to put a fucking smiley at the end of that sentence? If I were really insulting someone with that comment I'd be insulting Mike fucking Patton!! Are YOU Mike Patton? Does Mike Patton post here? Your logic is seriously fucked up, dude. I assume everyone that talks trash about Lars, Mustaine, Schaffer, or the COUNTLESS other musicians here, use smileys, right? Come on, man. This is seriously ridiculous.

It's called preventive measures. If you don't take them, I predict that more such disagreements will take place in the future. A lot of the things you say can be misconstrued and this would be solved with the use of those smileys.

I'm not asking you to do much. You move your mouse over like four inches and click once.

However, since you're not going to bother because you're resistant to changing anything about yourself as a Native American circa 1764 is resistant to white settlers taking over his land, then I'm going to stop posting in this thread pertaining to this issue.

adult themes is essential to everyone's records collection for it can make anyone run away from it within 5 minutes after you put it on 8) a good album to play to your enemies

but this is the only totally unlistenable album Mike ever released...

Anthony & The Johnsons "I am a Bird Now"

Since the last argument I have made EVERY attempt at using smileys so people know that I am joking, but I do NOT have to use any smiley when making any comment about a goddamn musician that is not a part of this community.

You don't like me, Aaron, that is clear, so you can talk your nonsense all day long and try and put a spin on it and make it out to be me that's the problem, but the bottom line is that YOU are singling me out now just like you've done every other time. How come you didn't call out Misha for saying Devin Townsend sucks? Hmmm? I mean, you slammed me before for making such blanket comments! Are you now going to start bitching at everyone else when they says Lars is an asshole? Maybe a healthy dose of hypocrisy will do you some good?

Dead Machine wrote:
Lars. Every time he talks, I want to brand his face with a white-hot poker coated in acid.

Where's your fucking smiley, man? Is THAT not more insulting than calling someone a retard? The smart thing would be for me to not reply to you, but the reality is that you will just continue taking jabs at me every chance you get, thus fucking up whatever thread we may be talking in. I come here to ENJOY this board and that is all, you come here to enjoy the board, but also to argue. That much is clear and I'm sorry, I'm not budging.

You say I won't change. Whatever. I say you consistently attempt to be an e-bully and you're consistently out of line with it. This thread being proof beyond reason.

NOW...can someone talk about Devin Townsend and Mike Patton? How about this as an apology for Aaron's behavior and my inability to ignore him:

DEVIN TOWNSEND - IDOM

This is the original version of what would later become "Dire" and "Consequence" on the self-titled Strapping Young Lad album. It's very different. It was originally released on a Japanese compilation album. It's extremely rare.

ENJOY!

and that's your mistake

the first time you listen to Mr Bungle you think it's novelty, the 10th time you see it's songs and that they are just great (and of course crazy !) 8)
