I play on Cenarion Circle. I have a 60 NE Warrior and various other classes, my other highest class is a 39 Human Warlock. I'm currently 5 weeks into Molten Core. My Warriors name is Nattefrost.

Man, it would be cool if were all on the same server.

Since Blizzard gives me a boner as it is, I thought WoW was pretty fucking amazing. However these sorts of games are insanely addictive (on top of me being a person who is easily addicted to begin with) so I had to put it down. Or surely my wife would have killed me by now. :P However, I do have friends I can call just about any time of day or night and they will still be playing that fucking game. Don't get me wrong, I have gone on plenty of gaming binges, but damn some people are like crack fiends with this shit. Nowadays I'm ALL about grid paper and 20 sided dice.

I tried some roleplaying (Vampire) yesterday with pen, paper and a dice and it was quite fun. Much more healthy than playing WoW at least.

I've never done D&D, it always seemed rather boring. I was more into video games, I need visuals.

Quite frankly pen and paper dungeons & dragons kinda lost it's meaning after Baldurs Gate came out on the pc's! It signaled a time where you can simulate everything!

I've never liked a D&D system in games. I completed Neverwinter Nights without knowing a thing about all the "2D 11H" stuff, and it really made the game less enjoyable. In games, I want it to be like in WoW, where there is damage, crit chance and so on. But nothing beats a good ole' Diablo 2 slaughter :P

You guys are such modernists. D&D is awesome, especially if you play it with the right group.

Yes, and it's much more social, too. There used to be a couple of great DMs in my town who must've been bards in a previous life..

I have a very unhealthy love/hate relationship with this bastard spawn of a zerg infested Kerrigan known as WoW (or WoR World of Roguecraft)... So I'm on my main & my faggot friends want to duel me. Both of which are my anti-classes, one being a mage & another a Hunter. First duel is with the Hunter at level 48 (I'm 49). I Charge & find myself trapped in an Freezing Trap (what a fucking surprise) & he gets distance & Aim Shots me. I intercept & GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!! Scatter Shot, Feign Death, Freezing Trap!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm Frozen again, waiting... Aim Shot, it crits. I try desperately to get close while his pet chews on my loins & he gets into aspect of the cheetah just to spite me. Intercept finally coolsdown, so I do it, & then comes Deterrence. In other words. I got raped & he went down like 15% hp. NEXT FIGHT!!! Mage is 51!!! (Bold Being Warrior, Italic being Mage) Charge Frost Nova then Polymorph Baaaaahhhhh Pyroblast Intercept Blink, Fireball, Fireblast, Impact chance goes off Stunned /laugh Drinks Potion, puts on shield, shield wall, bloodrage, intercept Blink, Polymorph, Drink Wondering why I even bothered Pyroblast GUFFAW!!! ..... AND THIS MY FRIENDS IS WHAT WE CALL BALANCE!!!

On the other hand you can solo much easier than the mage, and do more damage than the hunter. Can't win em all!

Btw, I read the first review on d&d online, on the final beta (which is pretty much the final product). All I can say is I predict leaving azeroth very shortly!!

I don't have much time to play either. I've been playing since August, I have just one character at level 42. I had a friend start at the same times as I did and he was at 60 before I was at 30!

Man some people are insane...I remember when WoW was released, a guy in my school bought it on the same day and well...He and his brother took turns playing. They played non-stop for 3 fucking days!

Well, this guy works with me, so it's not like he has tons of free time. Not only that, he just started playing this D&D game—he's into that D&D shit—and so it suits him better than WoW and he's letting his account expire on the 28th. As I mentioned earlier, he gave me his username and password so I could take his gold and weapons. No joke, his main character was a 60, but he had 8 other characters—Horde and Alliance—all between levels 15 and 30!! HOW?!?!

I work 60-70 hours a week and have a very similar stable of characters on Hellscream. 60 Shaman, 36 rogue, 34 warrior, 21 priest, 17 mage, 12 hunter, 11 warlock.

Once you get the hang of the game, you can get a character to 20 in about 4-5 days.

All my characters on the horde side are named after metal bands/songs/albums/musicians. Nattefroste, Gaahl, Kathaarian, Samoth, Bergtatt, etc etc
