I don't disagree with them, he sucks for the part. I haven't seen a large number of his films but considering one of them was the fucking Tomb Raider movie, and another was him sexing some nasty old woman, I don't think ANYTHING could run his career, much less this.

You watched the shitty ones. Go for:

Road To Perdition
The Jacket
Munich
Layer Cake
Enduring Love

I thought Layer Cake was pretty crappy.

it made me realise that the twists in turns in gangster movies just didn't matter. pretty pointless really. oh your boss is really a police informant and who you thought was your enemy is your friend! yaaaay! and your pet goat is really a tiny giraffe painted to look like a goat.

but it doesn't matter because everyone dies, and then at the end anyone left surviving is chilling out at a restaurant acting like they'd just got out of work.

conclusion: lolsux

Even accepting those points (which I find it hard to) you can't deny DC was pretty good in the film. I think you're just annoyed that Sienna Miller kept her clothes on...

I don't even know who she is 8)

wait, are cool smileys appropriate for not caring about celebrities? I don't know how the balance has shifted.

I think 'twas her. Yep, she's in Alfie and Casanova as well. Roll.

OK goddamnit I had to explain this to my friend as well....the guy gets killed at the end in the movie, and yes that sucked balls. BUT, in the BOOK he survives the gunshot, so there is a possibility of a sequel. 8)

Earlier this week, veteran actor Christopher Lee called on critics to give the new Bond star a chance.

Shit, I didn't see that before.

If Christopher Lee said it, I don't think it can be false.

Good book, that. I hunted it down after seeing the film.
