I ended watching BC, cuz Get Shorty started early so I would've missed most of it anyway. Entertaining film, a bit cheesy in places, but whatever.

I didn't like Get Shorty that much. Danny DV is funny, but Travolta is a useless twat, like usual.

except in Blow Out & Pulp fiction where he was good.. apart from these exceptions I fully agree.

Gene Hackman is a great actor. Denzel Washington is a great actor. Jack Nicholson is a great actor. John Travolta isn't.

I mean, if your idea of a great actor is a tiresome "cool" act (which it obviously isn't, from your picks of other greats), then fine. Otherwise, I'm lost for words that you think so. Your favourite film with him in is...?

I don't really dislike him as an actor, I just dislike most of his films. And he has a tendency to chew scenery.

Denzel, Jack and Gene are all great. Denzel's new film looks pretty good.
