Look into the facts of the real people, they were very different to those in the film (apart from actually not speaking with English accents, rawl).

Just saw Ultraviolet. It was pretty good, but nothing you have not seen before in better movies. Milla looked good, though. :D

It was watchable, yes? Good, I was dreading it, in another Aeon Flux crapfest kind of way.

Crash won the Oscar for best picture and I could not agree more that it is the worthy winner. It just has to be one of the best movies ever made, along with Schindlers List, Ghandi and The Godfather triology, to name a few. I would not say it if I didn't really mean it. Do not miss this one out.

I beg to disagree. Every cliche in the book, and far too unbelievable that SPOILER the same cop who molested her pulls her out of the burning car. The others were far more deserving, Brokeback Mountain especially, Crash was the safe choice for them. Fuck the oscars.

It has never been done this fantastic before, and it’s in the same neighbourhood so I do not find it that unbelievable. I think you missed the point that it’s a small world, and even though they live on the same streets, in the same countries there’ ignorance, violence and racism among them.
Crash is a really important film and I would love to see it used in schools in teaching and debate.

Brokeback Moutain was a shit awful movie. Two gay cowboys crying, how wonderful.

Crash on the other hand is an awesome movie. Cliche or not, it is extremely well done. It deserved it very well but still fuck the Oscars.

Come off it, it was by far the safest choice. You had a few political Clooney films, a gay one and an Israeli-Palestinian one, and a race one. It just shows how far up its own arse Hollywood has gone. Plus that bloody rapper annoyed me beyond belief. A film about race tension won't be improved by conforming to stereotypes, people.

And, not having seen Walk The Line, did Witherspoon deserve her award?

Wish I could remember, I was so drunk when I saw that film. Its all a blur.

OMFG WTF!? I just watched "The City of Lost Children." This movie is fucking IN-SANE. It makes no sense whatsoever, probably because it was made in France. Man, are the French really this fucked up??? All manner of craziness happens in this movie. Like, there is this dude and he wants to reverse his aging by stealing the dreams of children or some shit, and then there is this guy that can break chains with his bare hands, and there are clones and talking brains in fish tanks, and mine fields, and submarines, and MIDGETS, and a CULT OF CYCLOPSES. Fucking hell.

Went to see The Hills Have Eyes today. It was a pretty brutal movie, I've only seen about 30 minutes of the original so I can't really compare but this movie had some pretty intense scenes. I liked it alot although the ending could have been better.

It bordered between the silly and the just plain nasty (not scary, just unpleasent for the sake of it). I wasn't sure about the right wing vigilante message either - triumphant music blaring as the perviously snivelling leftie wakes up to the joys of smashing people in the head with pointy things? :?
