Thanks. I knew my normal track-by-track approach would be useless when reviewing Nortt. I guess it is very short, though.

Great. The sooner I get one of the unholy trinity (Xasthur, Leviathan, Nortt) the better (worse?) my life will be.

Good review.. A bit short coming from you as you already pointed out yourself.

This album is very good. If you allow yourself to sink in this record summons some of the most oppressive atmospheres I've heard in a long time.. It takes a couple of listens to grasp it properly, but then it is most rewarding (or punishing depending on your stance).

I'll quote it 80%. I think it deserves it, but if I quoted it anything less the local kvltsters would cut off my ears and feed me to the wolves..

I have not heard it, yet. Though, I am a fan of Nortt, and would like to obtain this at some point, as of now, money's limited in my camp (The Shortbus Camp).

I like this style. A lot actually, a track by track review is rather dragging when you haven't heard the album yet, and that is the focus of reviewing. It's great how you captivate the essence of the album in words, although I have not heard this album. I know Nortt, so I get the atmosphere, and I can really compare it to the text. Keep up this great stuff!!

PS it wasn't too long, but what is more important is that it was not too short! Long reviews tend to get boring when the point has been made.
