It depends how drunk you are.
Being the guy on six beers when everyone else is just starting (or the equivalent, like 8-2 etc ) is a tricky one to play, but if you're careful you can get away with it.
Any more of a difference than that and you're fucked.
I don't know. I never got wasted on beer. When I'm drinking the 5-6th the first ones wear out and I get sober. Seriously, beer never gets me drunk. It's like a fucking curse! I usually prefer vodka in these occasions, it's always nice to let the whole crowd know you're richer than them.
