i sent it in for review because i wanted to see what some people thought, i got their input and you learn from that. and to the reviewer thanks for your time i appreciate it, but music isnt about reviews or what reviewers think journalism died with hunter thompson.

Translation: I'm pissed because I got a bad review, so I'm acting like I don't care.

Well, first off, you shouldn't be releasing music that you recorded live in one take. Remember when bands actually worked hard to mold their music into something presentable? It's just far too easy for bands to release music these days. The mix is not what made your vocals sound that way, did someone change the pitch?

Do yourselves a favor, buy something like a Boss BR-1180 and a nice mixing board. That'll run you $1000, not a lot of money split four or five ways. It's one thing to release something online to give people an idea of what you're doing, but to actually release it in a way that is a defined representation of your band you need to make sure that the quality is up to par with at least the most minimal standards. This EP is not.

The production on this EP is terrible, some of the worst I've ever heard. That's not a lie. You should not have released something like this. If you say your vocals are not really like that, then make sure next time you get it right—but they are like that, stop lying. Musically it wasn't that bad, but the production and vocals were terrible. It may be easy to release music these days, but it's also just as easy to release music that at least sounds good.

If you're going to use the word "intelligent," may I suggest you quote who you're talking to and, also, why not use some capital letters, a comma and maybe a period? I realize you posted that in one take, but seriously...it's not hard.

i agree with you several things could have been done to insure a better production including spending a thousand dollars. the whole point in reviews is to get opinions it doesnt matter to me what they are and by no means am i pissing and moan here i just wanted to let you know about the background of the recording, the vocals are that style but were different sounding in an earlier recording whether its the pitch or what i dont know, the group is a live band and having had to much time put in on the recording aspect of being a musician, we are learning as we progress. thank you for your advice and your time.

carnifex- is that a picture of you? just curious what state is it where they live ten years back in time? nothing personal im just wondering thats all.

Yes, that is me. What on earth are you talking about? Ten years back in time? Forgive me, I was unaware that Bloodbath t-shirts were the height of ladies' fashion in 1996.

What an absolute turd you are. Kayla, he's obviously trying to insult you, and like his vocal performance he failed. I'm not even sure what the joke was supposed to be.

I had no problems with the production, then again, I was once a fucking inverted black metal nekroyeti. The music sounded a little like Dark Fortress' Tales From Eternal Dusk, not too bad, but I agree with you on the vocals, the death metal growls are acceptable.

Let me tell you. In his pathetic little mind he wanted to insult somebody but his IQ wasn't enough to do that so he just said something random and he had only the balls to try to insult the only girl around.

Way to go fuckhead, and if you're reading this, your music sucks , go kill yourself.

I'm still really confused as to where he's getting this "10/20 years back in time" thing. Maybe it's the hair, and he doesn't know the difference between bangs and a mullet? Just in case he's reading this, here's a short tutorial:

Any questions?

Well, of course, but what kind of shirt. It looks victorian, or something?

And...um...you're...uh...bigger than I imagined.
