I think that would satisfy everyone. Bottled urine in peoples homes on their tvs and radios, destroying their electrics and forcing them to be thrown out (also cos they were covered in piss!), bottles of urine ruining the carpets and smells of newsagents and eleectronics stores, and no more 'fiddy' being popular because hes popular and becuase says its true.

See here, this is one way to demonstrate. Let the world know how awfull 50's lyrics are and explain why. Let people around you know what a scumbag he is.

I'm on the side of the bottle throwers, this was at the Leeds / Reading festival last year and the line-up is mainly Punk / Rock / indie with a sprinkling of metal. Why do people then have to accept their festival experience being marred by being forced to hear the same shit we have to put up with whenever we go out to a bar, club, pub whatever. It's the organisers who really need bottling however, for booking bands like the rasmus and 50 cent, if you look at the rest of the line-up he just didn't fit, I mean he was the act before the headliner as well! At least after the reaction they might learn their lesson this year and stick with what people actually LIKE to watch / hear.

We don't need to destroy tvs, just the stations that play this crap. and of course we have to slice through all the rappers too... and cleanse the minds of anyone who listens to it... but then again, there's a risk that if metal gets too mainstream, it will degrade... into "Shudder" Nu-metal... do we really want that?

look, even if just 1 person went there just for 50 cent or the rasmus or whatever, it's unfair to that person to miss out on their artist of choice.

I know where you're coming from, and I agree with you in principal but my argument is that there are more 'pop' festivals like T in the park, V and even Glastonbury to a certain extent where people like 50 cent would fit the bill and fans of his music are far more likely to go. You don't tend to get punk and metal acts at these festivals so why should metal and punk fans have to put up with pop acts at their festivals? Further to this, why have a rapper like 50 cent who they MUST know is going to be unpopular with the majority of festival goers so high on the bill, on the main stage playing above many far more respected musicians. That's why the crowd were so pissed off.
Also the fact that 50 cent was so at odds with everything else on the bill begs the question that why would anybody pay £130 + just to see him at a festival full of bands they probably won't like when they could see him at a headline gig for half that! [/rant]
