All my friends in Alice Springs worship family guy, and i dont get it. Glad to see some ppl that also think it is overrated. its good but not that good. And the simpsons, yes the new episodes suck, but i will forever treasure my season 1 to 6 dvd boxsets. 5 and 6 are best, when David Mirkin produced the show. Season four is also good.

I think The Simpsons ran out of ideas somewhere around the 10'th season. One thing I've never liked is when real celebrities do their own voices on the show, it's never funny. And it's for one simple reason, they have to be nice and show the celeb in a positive light. It's all too safe. I much more prefer SouthPark's approach.

They should bury The Simpsons and continue with Futurama.

I'd love to see Futurama continued. But for now we will have to be happy with those movies they are making. South Park and Futurama will always be favorites of mine.

I actually haven't watched the Simpsons in ages. I watch South Park instead. But I'll admit, I also sometimes wonder when it's finally going to go off the air. The show's focus has changed so much since its beginnings. Bart used to be the show's star character. Now it's Homer.
