Short poem with a little twist. You'll probably flame me for this, but it doesn't seem like much work went in.

Oh, wait, you're talking about the short poem? Well, there's no gimmick, but you're correct, not much work went in. I sat and thought about what to write for a while and drew a blank, so I just started typing, 20 seconds later In Theory was written. Hahaha.

Yeah, not the longer one.

It was basically writer's block written out (nice contradiction, huh?). Haha. I do like it, though. =)

I just got the "music" of it, I guess...

and it's not about how short it is (no matter whatever stupid things I said before) it's about its quality... but this is turning more and more into a poetry contest than a lyrics contest which I originally thought it was... My mistake :oops:

and that's why you did get my vote, because that was damn good for a poetry contest (not seeing it be more than an interlude if we consider it as lyrics) ! 8)

Emm Gryner "Girl Versions" (very Tori Amos influenced cover versions album, but still pretty good... tell me Ken, how's the rest of her work ? always solo piano or does it get more "orchestrated" and how does it sound then ?)

Good lawd, sonny! Calm down. Do you honestly think that little shit for nothing poem influenced people?? If it did, that's pretty damn weird.
