Well, everyone else got one, so I'm starting this dammit.

Feel free to discuss RAW, Smackdown!, TNA Impact, The Ultimate Fighting Championship, Pride FC, International Wrestling/Fighting, etc.

This is an actual match that is going to be on the card for the upcoming WWe PPV Backlash! I know think Vince McMahon is the greatest human ever. Discuss!

I can't believe Arlovski went down in the first. Looks like The Steroid Maine-iac is back. TUF 3 is pretty solid so far. Noah winning last week with the injury was inspiring.

Does anyone train subs, wrestling, striking?

I got wrestling, and a variety of subs, plus grapple striking under my belt, but I don't really get to practice anymore because I got booted from college where I wrestled... no training pardners. Doesn't matter, I'm too small to fight MMA anyway, they hardly have a division for me. :D

Yep, he'll always hold a special place in my heart, despite the fact he can't wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag!

Can't say i'm a fan of professional wrestling any more. I do like UFC though. That is some great stuff.

Indeed. I didn't get into it until Spike TV picked it up, but now I'm hooked! I also like watching PRIDE FC, a Japanese league. It's like UFC but with less grappling. The only problem is you have to be awake at 3 in the morning on a Saturday Night to watch it.

UFC and MMA shouldn't be discussed alongside WWE and TNA. Pffft!

I like TNA. I'm new to it, but any fed where X-pac randomly comes back, and jobs Raven out of the company is worth watching. :-D

Has anyone seen RoH? Everyone I know shits bricks over it, but not me, sir. Never seen it that is. Is it good?

BACK to MMA, anyone see Gomi get choked by Marcus Aurelio? That must've been a suprise live, I know I was numbed when I read it.

Well, seeing how they attract basically the same audience, I figured it would be easier to just make one thread. I'm trying to keep the board tidy dammit!

Hogan had one brutal finisher  made the last ride look like.. some harmless move.

seriously though, RAW sucks ass. the only good wrestlers there are HBK, Triple H, Cena and RVD, and most of the show is just talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk TALK! stupid shit like the shawn michaels piss test, the shawn michaels retirement contract signing and the kiss my ass club are just fucking rediculous. literally half the show is talk. worthless.

Smackdown! on the other hand has Lashley, Mysterio, Kurt Angle, the cruiserweights (pretty weak but better than nothing, which is what they have over at RAW), The Undertaker and, of course, THE ANIMAL: Batista, and most importantly MUCH LESS TALK!

i can't believe people think of smackdown as the weak show.

I use to like professtional wrestling back in the day ( mid to late 90s). I was quite a bit younger then but it seems to me like it was much more fun to watch. More matches less talking. My favorite wrestler was Sting. He kicked ass.

TNA is awesome-tastic. It's my new favorite promotion. I like how they actually, you know, wrestle instead of talk for 2 hours. Wrestling on a wrestling show, what a concept! Plus Christian is the champ. Captain Charisma!

ROH-I've got a few DVDs in my collection. It's okay, but I don't see what everyone creams their panties over it for. I guess if seeing a bunch of vanilla midgets who have no concept of ring psychology is your thing, it's good. But they aren't on national TV for a reason. Mainly it's a good cure for insomnia.

MMA-no, I didn't get to see that fight, but everyone says it's a damn good one.

maybe if the wrestlers had long hair.... and beat each other up with guitars... while screaming At The Gates songs... then it might be something...

well, that's kind of what I mean posting the HH pic... wrestling sucks because it's meant to be liked by brainless rednecks who enjoy the simplistic kind of heavy rock and the crappier country music 8)
