judging by your description they're part of the genre non-human level and arsis basically killed for me... are they along the lines of arch enemy/at the gates?

I wouldn't really compare them to Arch Enemy or ATG, they're too groovy for that (not to mention Arch Enemy and ATG are better, or at least more memorable). It's like the difference between a peanut butter cookie and a chocolate chip cookie - they're both cookies, but they're different enough as to appeal to different tastes.

(Sorry about the food analogy, I'm really hungry and the dining halls aren't open yet.)

Heard So Grim So True or whatever it's called, and it's not bad. I'll get this if I see it cheep.

Same here. My friend bought the Metal Hammer ( ) where they accidentaly put a bunch of OMAATUQ songs on the Battle Metal CD. I thought they were ok, but, as the review says, had to much damn buildup at the start of every song.

That's what I get for sticking to Terrorizer, I suppose.

Is that a real friend, or a "friend", as in, "my friend's got a problem, help me"?

No, in fact he seems to buy Metal Hammer just to get angry with it these days.
