apropos of nothing, 1930 by Merzbow is kind of a tough listen but it has the added advantage of making me completly forget what melody sounds like.

yeah, that's exactly how Merzbow intended it to be 8)

but noise just for the sake of noise bores me... I need that little extra-melody that hides itself but that kind of haunts you anyway... do you see what I mean ?

Mmm, I do.. bands like Autechre or Venetian Snares are easier to drop into because they have other elements than just feedback and bleeps. I'm going to keep facing Merzbow albums even so - each is an amazing and humbling mental scouring process :D

BUMP!

My favourite band is either Darkthrone or Death Cab for Cutie, but I'm not so sure about the letter because it sucks donkey balls dipped in chocolate.

I meant "latter" or I could have meant letter, but I'm not so sure about the latter.

I've never listened to Death Cab for Cutie. Upon hearing that horrendously dumb name, I knew it would be a waste of my not-so-precious time.

At first I thought it was a satire grindcore band or something, then I learned it was a gay indie band that everyone is creming their pants for.

I officially hate this band now.

Whereas now he looks a bastion of heterosexuality.

The dreadlocks and beard are an improvement. Seriously, watch one of their old videos.

"Ordinary Story" or "Only For The Weak" or "Cloud Connected". The latter proves my point, I think.

Edit: good song, though. They're actually quite a good band.

Work sucks. Still before his current look.

I just found a video of a 'tard at a job interview, but it wasn't a real 'tard, merely someone affecting 'tardness. The disappointment I felt... :(
