Too bad Alarum didnt get much of a crowd, imo they are one of the best aussie metal bands ive heard.

Hardcore dancers all need shooting in my opinion, I fail to see why a couple of pubescent dickheads should ruin everyones good time. I love a good mosh pit and most people involved in them in my personal experience are good natured, help you up if you fall and know what they're doing. Hardcore dancers on the other hand seem to just set out on hurting someone in order to make themselves feel like a big man. It'd be laughable if it wasn't so fucking dangerous as well.

Great live report Kayla, I might try and do one for the festival I'm going to next month if I can stay off the intoxicants enough to remember what transpired

thing is, i don't think hardcore dancers WANT "contact" with other people, they just flail around and shit. it's these gay ass FAIRY HARDCORE KARATE BALLET fuckers who flair around WANTING to hit people. that flailing thing + actual "contact" = disaster.

Necrophagist - maybe it's just me but they also sound kinda boring on album.

Agree with Azrael on Necrophagist, I kind of like them but they do sound dull sometimes, the talent is obviously there though.

And the vocalist is Turkish! Hi Muhammed! Hehe.

Cheers for the recomendations, Aes Dana are really good! A bit to heavy for my liking at times but the folk stuff easily outweights that! I don't think Mistweaver sound must like Ensiferum to be honest but its still pretty good. Its a shame i can't find any Falchion. Korpiklaani are one of my favorite folk metal bands and i would be interested to hear these guys.

And hardcore moshers are just retards. I've been at a few gigs where someones tried that shit, within about ten seconds everyone turns on the fucker and knocks the shit out of them. hahahaha. My advice is don't do that at a metal gig.

My attitude to hardcore's softened a bit recently, but I still think most hardcore fans are fucking idiots. Even the ones too ballless to get in the pit.

Hardcore dancers are far different than mallcore moshers, which is likely what attacked Kayla!

Sad about hearing such news from Necrophagist. The two concert videos i saw were absolutely amazing, they even did a death cover (crystal mountain).



P.S:I am a Necrophagist fanboy so at the concert i probably would just sit down and just listen to the music, i really do not think it is a band fit for moshing.
