i forgot most of it after i cleared Math I, but now i have to study it again - Math II and the Lagrange thing and differentiation with more than one variable and stuff.

I teach girls that are 4 years younger than me and have problems with maths algebra.

Actually I haven't.. I just checked the reviews at amazon and this might be interesting.. Thx.

Not so very much about group theory (yet) but quite a bit about matrices. Anything specific?

@ Azrael: You better start remembering matrices before econometrics (you're studying economics right?) or chances are your professor will tear you a new asshole, haha..

i'm in Management, not Economics :P (laugh if you want), no Economtry to worry about, fortunately.

now we're in integration with 2 variables.. it's not hard at all (at least for now we only do "direct integration", we haven't come acorss ones where we needed to use "parts" or substitution), but you REALLY have to focus while you're doing it.

(though not as bad as matrices, one - sign wrong and you've fucked it all up)

I always found integrals harder than matrices, in fact, I don't find matrices hard at all, but integration is a bitch. Is there something I'm missing here?

even the simple stuff in matrices can get nasty, because of all the minus signs and shit a guy can misplace. also i hate "rearranging" matrices to find the rank and all.

integration can probably be a real bitch, but we keep it simple in the course i'm taking, mwahaha.

Integrals arent' so bad as long as they aren't trigonometric. There's nothing worse than memorizing trigonometric identities.

Eh, its pretty basic stuff. Adding, subtracting, multiplying determinants, identity and inverse stuff, and determinants.

Anyone see the movie Pi? If you like mathematics you will probably find this movie very interesting....its a good move IMO.
