Not bad. That would've been a weird JP, a vocalist like that!

Did you listen to the "Isolation" clip? You can hear a Halford tone in that song, which makes me think he could have pulled it off. It's not like Owens sounded identical anyway, he had his own sound that occasionally went into the Halford zone.

It's good, though, had this guy gotten the job there would none of the following:

Casus Belli
Beyond Fear
The Glorius Burden w/Owens (some would say YAY! at that notion)

I fear, though, Demolition and Jugulator were inevitable. Sorry.

Yes, see what you mean. And The Glorious Burden is really not as bad as people say that I've heard, unless there's a really bad track (aside from When The Eagle Cries) that I haven't heard. I nearly bought it the other day...

TGB is not my favorite IE album, but I definitely like it.

Im lovin the samples of this band. Great review.

I definately hear the Halford tone in the Isolation song too. This guy would have been better for JP. Im a ripper hata! Well, he hasnt been attached to anything I thought was better than ok. I suppose if he ever is I will give him more of a chance.

The clips on the site sound good and yes I can hear the Halford comparison on Isolation.

I just wish he stuck with that tone throughout the album because I'm a big fan of that type of vocals.

Me, too. It would have added a nice dynamic to the vocals.
