This album is great, one of the very few death metal shits that got my interest lately. How could it not anyway, there are 3 ex-Emperor guys that touched this thing, of course it will turn to gold. I liked their previous albums better, especially WoW, but this is awesome too.

From a band named for the gas that killed millions...

I don't know why, but I always thought it was just 'cyclone' in Norwegian! Zyklon-B did that path...

Anyway, silly me. Good review for a good band.

ZYKLON rules. I've only heard Aeon, but I've been meaning to dig deeper.

Disintegrate is now my favourite Zyklon album. Aeon has a few dud songs (like An Eclectic Manner) and World OV Worms is too plain and too much like Emperor's Prometheus.
But this album throws in more industrial stuff to their great death mix (I hear it as replacing the old black elements) and has some truly great headbanging intros to it.
Good music for driving games and fps where sound is not needed (i.e, don't play during Far Cry or you'll be raped, but UT2004 is teh win)

This album is great. 85/100.

I like it a lot more than Aeon, and maybe more than WoW but both those albums are superb.

I like this album a lot. Haven't listened to it in a couple weeks though so I'll have to listen to it again before I decide upon a score.

Great album!

Saw them at Wacken last year, and wasn't very impressed, but I think that had more to do with the sound and the HUGE stage. They don't quite have the presence to command such a big stage. [Unlike Suffocation!!]

I didn't like Aeon, but I'm pretty impressed with this one so far... maybe not as good as WoW, but it's at least in the ballpark.

Cool, seeing how everyone here says it's good, I'll be sure to pick this one up. Nice to see a band's quality increasing with age.

Death metal?? I must get a hold of this one and give it a listin. I always thought the name came from the poison gas, but i hoped the band was named after a cyclone.

Zyklon & Zyklon-B are two different bands, even though both contained Samoth. Samoth has stated that the name is a play on words of the word "cyclone" Zyklon-B hasn't done anything since 1998 anyway.

Aeon had a Morbid Angel-ish feel to it, although there's nothing inherently wrong with that. This album crushes it in so many ways. Finally, a death metal band not named Opeth with 3 completely different sounding albums.

It's totally a cyclone, don't be paranoid people.

See, a cyclone right there. And I just noticed that is one awesome cover.

lol dig deeper into what? Their first album or their 3rd one? Not a whole lot of places to dig through with them.

That said, nice review Kayla and I agree, I am not a big Death Metal guy but this fucking album smokes big time just like their other twol...

Disintegrate is my fave song here, it's kickass, still not as good as Psyklon Aeon or Hammer Revelation though.

on Zyklons web page it shows the bad with gas masks on. http://www.zyklontribe.com/ now i am not saying that they are named after the poison gas, but this kinda makes me think that they are.
