Black Sabbath - Newer True Doom is SO much better!

Joni Mitchell - Can't stand her voice.

Bjork - Great voice, but shitty songwriter.

Queen - Ugh.

You?

(Edited for a better title)

George Harrison(Solo)-In my opinion, one of the greatest songwriters and musicians in the history of man, yet I just can't get into his sound. Unless he is playing a sitar on the song, then I can get into it more.

I also feel similiarly about Indian raga-based music and flamenco. I still listen to Del Castillo and Ravi Shankar, so I suppose that is sufficient.

Mahler. I prefer stuff like Tsaicovsky and Wagner (and the Carmina Burana).

Umm.... I dunno. Mayhem? Almost everybody I know digs De Mysteriis.... but I find it to be sucky.

Phil fucking Collins.

He's gotten rave reviews, he gets constant airplay, and yet out of all the musicians and all the songs I have ever heard, there is no one singular voice I could possibly desipse more.

I prefer Carmina Burana over anything. Some of the biggest composers usually don't do it for me, but Carmina Burana and The Four Seasons take me away from this world.

And I second De mysteriis, just don't see what's awesome about it.

Von - Satanic Blood , people see this as a classic kvlt bm record, but it's so shitty compared to the current US bands I can't get myself to like it. I have respect though.

Judas Iscariot - Same as Von, I respect it but cannot like it.

Sunn O))) - Yeah it's hypnotic and atmospheric like BM, but still I cannot get myself to sit through it. I change it after 5 minutes.

Cynic - i like Portal and Gordian Knot, but for some reason can't really get into them o_O

Studio King Crimson - I like the live album Vrooom Vrooom, Thrak, and The Power to Believe, but nothing else really interests me.

lots of prog, avant-garde black metal, and post rock - I can tell that stuff like this is good when i'm listneing to it, but nothing compels me to ever listen to it again.

Converge, Botch - I love so many bands these two have influenced but don't appreaciate them nearly as much.

Actually I also don't like Cynic. Hmm, and I really don't like the Beatles anymore.

Suffocation. Wouldn't you expect me to love Suffocation? I don't know-maybe I do-I haven't heard them in something like a year and for all I know it may only take the right song to spark my interest.

The music spoils it for me, the vocals are by far the best bit. its not a bad album, but its nowhere near as good as it is claimed to be.

I don't get why The Sound of Animal Fighting doesn't hook me in what seems like some marvelous music...

also, Grateful Dead... on the paper it sounds great but when I listen to it all I hear is lousy junky music

I never liked them. I also can't stand the Rolling Stones.
The Mars Volta - I find the vocals terrible and it's overproduced and too hectic and jittery for my taste.
J.S. Bach - Sounds like academic finger exercises to me.
Kamelot - I can not comprehend at all what should be so special about these guys.
Deep Purple (except Made in Japan)

Mars Volta as well.

Also:

Radiohead - I once heard this described as music 40 year-olds listened to because they thought it was popular with da kidz, and that seems as good a description as any.

Guns N' Roses - I have no idea why, I just find them annoying.

Kamelot
Hammerfall
(My tastes in music revolve around what these 2 do, but they are hardcore MEH)

Coheed And Cambria
Beatles
Pharaoh (To be honest Ive only heard the song Up The Gates, but it was so bad and then I find out this band is getting heaps of praise, what the shit??)
Tool's 10,000 Days (Still sucks some seriously sweaty balls)

Beatles. When you strip away all the hype they're just another mod beat group. The Kinks were way better.

Rolling Stones. Yeah, yeah. Heard it all before.

Jimi Hendrix. Save for a handful of songs I find his guitar "technique" sloppy and irritating.

Blind Guardian. Is this song over yet? Oh, the album is nearly finished. Wake me up when it does.

Btw Bach is my favourite classical composer.
