If Zad wants to call me out he can do so all he wants, Zad is no music expert, but he pretends to be. Like Stefan, there's simply too much vagueness. You like Five Horse Johnson enough to post a link, yet not enough knowledge to actually discuss them? Odd. How many threads have we seen where someone is trying to discuss one band and Zad comes along and posts links to another band? Or to a thread about another band that he's started?

I also find it funny that Zad downloaded the new Slayer song from Yousendit (a slower download), listened to it (a 5 minute song), in two minutes!! Yeah, you sure do care about your music.

I want stimulating musical discussion here! Not vague ramblings about something you know nothing about. Of course, that won't happen. The board is shit now, there are some great posters, but when you have someone like Zad and Stefan dominating every thread it sucks. When someone like Zad can reply about 40 times slamming a nu-metal band that was reviewed, swearing up and down he listened to the MP3s when the links were broken, THAT is bullshit. It's fake.

When the fairweather fans leave, let me know.

Because it comes off like messageboard spam. I mean, try and discuss it, dude. Show an interest, make it seem like the link you're posting is something you genuinely like. Otherwise it's all street team-like spam, you know? You don't have to be an expert on the band, but I don't understand the concept of posting a random link to a band without any personal words of your own. That seems rather counter-productive to the purpose of the board.

Absolutely, as do many others. The point was when the majority of the posts are not music-related, off-topic, or subjects diverting attention from the subject at hand, or simply Hellheim-like nonsense on a consistent basis that's a problem.

I discuss music 99% of the time.
