Here in Malaysia when you're 16:

-you can only get a motorcycle license
-still illegal to drive
-illegal to smoke
-illegal to consume alcohol
-you're stuck in Fourth Form (there's up to Sixth Form here)
-you're stuck on the bench for your school soccer team cos the coaches field the final year lads, the Fifth Formers, and your school is trashed 12-2. But it's still considered a farewell for the Fifth Formers.
-You're again the substitute for your schools debate team.
-You're unable to watch movies that are rated 18 and above.
-You screw up and you end up at the Henry Gurney School for the delinquent (that's the juvenile school here).

And that ^ happens to every malaysian 16 year old :shock: :?

Well of course not! That's just the written rules. I've been smoking and drinking before I was even 16. And 18+ movies were never a problem for me. My parents were very cool with it. But of course, I had to be the reserve for the debate team. I wasn't in the soccer team but I was in the handball team when I was in Fifth Form. Yeah, poor Fourth formers had to be benched.

But if we're caught smoking and drinking...that's the end. I was in Fifth Form (17 years old) and me and my friends were smoking in front of our school at 3 am. We got busted by the cops.
