Ninjas are gay. Pirates pwn ninjas and that's what I am. A pirate.

oh really?

Pirates live on the sea among men, as if they were mermaids, Ninjas don't

Ninjas practice combat every day and have great dicipline.. pirates just drink booze and fall asleep in their own puke.. hence, ninjas are better fighters...

and ninja's can jump 40 foot up into the air and run 50 km/hour... some are even invisible  and some can do cool hocus pocus

u should watch the movie "American Ninjas"... it'll answer all your questions

 i somehow think this discussion is far away from the subject in this thread

Why it is perfectly on topic. Ninjas and Pirates are political issues. Of course Ninjas are gay so...

how would know when they are all dressed up in black from top to toe... oh... you're equiped with a "gaydar"? .. i'm sry.. didn't knew that :)

Why yes of course I have a gaydar. Did you think you made it up? Pfft. I have a gaydar in my pocket right now.

ha ha... you do know it's only gay ppl who have a gaydar, right? .. where did you get yours? i might gonna use one  .. i mean.. no i don't

Thats a bit harsh......women have them too.

It's true. Mine is quite attuned after three years at a women's college.

I love that people cry over a few animals getting beaten up, but cloned humans are fine.

Everyone go read this. Even if you disagree, still a cracking sci-fi.

And what the fuck is up with those idiots in Washington trying to repeal the Inheritance Tax? Capitalism uber alles...

I'm also quite surpirsed that no here has an objection to cloning.

Lol. Did you see the Daily Express had a "Crusade to End Inheritance Tax"?

They gave out bumper stickers saying "inheritance tax is theft".

Gordon Brown was terrified! (not really)

No, I missed it. That is a new low for the tabloids of this country, I must say.

Yeah I always laugh my ass of when the Euro folks with like 20 percent unemployment, high ass taxes and welfare out the ass always talk shit about the US. You know we aren't perfect but I will talk any Asian country, even China over any Euro fucking shit.

I don't know what you were trying to accomplish with this rant, but you need to get your facts straight.

Cloning is teh sux. One of the biggest problems mankind will face in the coming years is overpopulation and the growing group of old people. Developing technologies to keep people alive longer is adding to that problem. Besides form this I don't think we should start messing with the way the system of nature works. Especially when the consequences are so hard to anticipate.

Cloning is awesome. Replacing destroyed limbs = the win. Curing diseases = the win.

GO CLONING.

There's a big difference between cloning a new limb for an amputee, and cloning an entire human.

Can they not grow ears on the back of mice? Surely an arm just calls for a bigger mouse...

Just make the limb. I don't know why everyone thinks you'd have to clone an entire human just for hacking purposes.

As Eternal said, just grow it. Can't they grow anything from some skin cells and a bit of genetic editing?

Grow is the wrong word. Manufacture would be a better term. Remember that cloning is called "Genetic Enigneering."

I think it is actually possible to clone organs and limbs without cloning a whole person. Cells have specific functions so if you found what cells are in liver tissue, just get those specific cells and clone them, and voila, a new liver!

As DM said - Curing Disease and having infinite donor organs is good.

I say, cloning a whole human being is bad.

i agree with my fellow dane. .. and btw Leee, we Euro folks hardly consider ourselves "Euro Folks", but refer to our own nationality, due to the differences in cultur and language etc... and we only have 5,7 % unemployed in my country and no one is starving, thank you very much  ... and we have high taxes because our welfare system is different from the american version - free healthcare etc... but it doesn't matter, in the end we have just as much money, and we don't have to work nearly as much to support ourselves.

and to quote myself from earlier:

Astaroth wrote:

besides, if you can't get killed one way or another, life get's boring and meaningless... deceases and death makes life seem more precious

.. i win...
