Metal Reviews

Generally when people are to become reviewers it is discussed among the team. No decision is made until everyone weighs in. I can go back on the Yahoo! page and read e-mails discussing me becoming a reviewer if I wanted to. That happened with you. It's not a quick process. I didn't get to be a reviewer right away, you know. It took a while. Plus, when you applied there were more people reviewing.

Now it's a little different as virtually every reviewer but Alex, Mike, Kayla, Jeff, Marty and myself has simply fallen off the face of the earth. Unfortunately Kaath caught Mike at a time when MR wasn't a priority, and that's understandable.

If a team member didn't like you, or didn't want you on the team, I am sorry. Misha was not really voted back in, one reviewer pretty much stepped up to the plate for him and everyone trusted his judgement.

I can't blame you for it, unfortuanately. Still, as I said, I've moved on. Probably should have made more of an issue of it at the time, but I was protecting a confidante.

No, I didn't fall on you like a ton of bricks. I nicely explained the reason and I questioned why you would be so rude. The thing is that you KNEW you were being rude and disrespectful and you got called out and THAT pissed you off. If you not being rude and disrespectful you wouldn't have reacted that way. I hurt your pride or whatever. As for Mike saying anything to you, did you say anything to him? Did he have a PM waiting? He's been coming here to delete spammers and porn accounts! Did he have a PM message from you popping up when he logged in? Or could his PM box simply not been something he was thinking about? Two-way street, you know?


Of course you are entitled, but I think before publicly saying something like you could have done more to inquire about the situation with Mike. You also could have replied something like this to me in that thread instead of jumping me with insults. That would have saved us from a whole lot of subsequent drama.

Pffft! Regardless of whether I didn't PM you or not at one point the conversation was over. Those people jumped in then. A PM would have helped nothing. And no I am not more to blame. How ridiculous is that notion?

No. I moderated a few replies of Stefan's, replies that remained because other people quoted them. I deleted one thread because it had become worthless. Moderating to win would not be deleting a thread because at that point everything is gone. I moderated to get rid of a shitty thread. I moderated Stefan because it was necessary. I've been a mod here for like 9 months now and I've NEVER moderated shit. So continue making nonsensical claims.


Wrong again. I wasn't fighting a battle for Mike, I was giving Kaath a reason why Mike hadn't got back to him. I was trying to help Kaath out with his displeasure, giving him a reason as to why Mike didn't get back to him. It was no fight at that point. When he jumped on me I was then fighting for myself.


First, I don't start flamewars in every post I make. That's bullshit. I don't start threads directly attacking other people! I simply respond in kind when those do that to me. Second, I don't moderate to cover my ass. Quit making shit up. I deleted ONE THREAD that needed to be deleted. I edited three posts that were still on the board. I don't need to cover my ass, you have no ground to shout your nonsense from. I've NEVER called Kaath a bad reviewer and unworthy! NEVER! Maybe you're mistaking his words directed at me. What I hate most is people who will flat out deny something that is RIGHT IN THEIR FACE! Someone like RvN coming in and talking shit on a subject that he clearly knew dick about deserves to get deleted. Sorry.

Your motives here, Misha, are unjustified. Move on to your own site, leave this one. We all know what's coming in the next few weeks, or month or so: COME VISIT MY NEW REVIEW SITE AND MESSAGEBOARD! IT'S BETTER THAN THIS ONE.

Just to be the DA, if K applied again would it be likely that he would get the job?

Everyone contributing to the flamewar is guilty of the fact that there is one. And maybe you didn't make a new thread like I did, but how the fuck am I supposed to reply if some "modpowers protect me!"-asshole deleted the thread so that everyone forgets or he can say "I didn't say that" without anyone being able to look it up.

Doubtful. Mods get away with far more on other sites. Editing Stefan's replies was the worst I've ever done and the editing wasn't an issue, I probably put too much emphasis on the word fucktard, but that's a minor infraction at worst.

All my words are quite civil considering. The funny thing is, in the past I have said something over and over again and people argue it, only to have Mike come in, say the same thing, and everyone goes: Yeah, I can see that. :roll:
