I did, they dont listen. Its like "But we need you, you're the only one" Im usually the type of person that puts others needs ahead of my own and its resulted in a lifetime of being walked on, the past few years though, Ive been starting to snap at people. I hope I go Flanders on everyone soon.

WTF it's Subway, can't they afford to hire more people? Stand up for your rights!

Considering it's Subway, he's lucky they pay him. Subway makes a lot of money, they just don't spend it.

We don't have Starbucks in Finland. I'm not much into overpriced coffee anyway.

No Starbucks in Finland? I can't believe they haven't invaded such a well known country.

Damn! Over here you have to be careful the shop you're using doesn't turn into a Starbucks while you're inside! Like this one time I was buying shoes, and when I got to the counter the guy was all like "dude why're you holding those shoes at the counter this is a coffee shop" GREAT STORY CRAIG

Coffee shops are completely different things here: you can buy yourself a trip to the stars for a few bucks...

Starbucks hasn't invaded Portugal either, which kicks ass.

i hope it stays that way until i'm done with my studies, i want to open one, Portuguese people are crazy about certain foreign chains. a good example would be Cup & Cino, who started a completely new trend reguarding overpriced fancy-ass coffee shops.

lol, yeah you guys do it right, I wish the US would get its conservative ass out of its head and at least adopt that cool policy of the Netherlands. That will likely never happen though. Of all the things to make illegal in the world that is the worst.

there's this total ditz who works at the starbucks i live near who always gives me a venti when i order a grande (and i only pay for the smaller one so i'm not complaining) and she always just seems so out of it in general i'm surprised she hasn't been fired yet. She's pretty good looking so the manager probably has a crush on her.

I work friday/saturday and probably thursday too soon. I'm working a short shift right now because my boss started like begging me on the phone that there was no one else to open. It probably would have been fine to just leave the store closed since like 2 people have actually rented anything so far lol. I'm cool with getting paid 36$ to surf the internet, study math, listen to the mars volta and read for 4 hours though.
