I thought I'd head for the States this summer, and after randomly determining which of the fifty states I'd head to I've come up with Kentucky. Now, is there anyone who lives there, and if so, who can tell me if there is anything at all to do there? I'm going for a week and staying at someone's place in Covington, and I will not have a car. I'm mainly interested in regular life in the States, not the New York kind of States... but I would like for something to actually do during those weeks

So tell me what you know. Music stores, interesting places, etc.

Man, why did you pick Kentucky? Nothing but hillbillies and rednecks... I guess that's any state actually. Anyway, cool. If you decided to come to Nebraska I could’ve helped you out.

As I said, I randomly determined the state by rolling dice. That and Kentucky seemed interesting because it has 'Ken' in it.

Kentucky is kind of close to Chicago. That's really the biggest draw. Unless you have a secret fetish for bluegrass or horserace tracks.

Uhh, the Kentucky Derby is the only thing I know of that happens in Kentucky. Oh, and Meth, lots and lots of Meth. That's about it.

You could dig a hole. Or put the laundry out on the line. Or even roll down a grassy hill.

I've never been to Kentucky.

I'd pick Kentucky only if I had a preconceived notion that the USA sucks and I wanted to confirm it.

Kentucky... I'm drawing a blank. Nothing goes on there. It's just about as boring as Wyoming or either of the Dakotas or Nebraska. All they do is sit around and, well, sit around. You could have come to Miami, Florida, where all the people bitch for absolutely no reason; where the ambient temperature is so hot your balls scream in agony as they drown in their own sweat; where Reggaeton is the only known music genre, and the best part, a culmination of all the LOUDEST societies known to plague the earth, including and not limited to: Puerto Ricans, Cubans, Dominicans, Haitians, and all the other countries in the Caribbean not memorable enough..

Looks like I'm going to be choosing another destination, as I calculated that the flights alone will cost around 2000€. Sheer madness.
