And Topher Grace as Venom is a fucking travesty. I'd be ripping some Sony studio executive's heads off if I was Stan Lee. How they can get X-Men right, and totally fuck up Spider Man is beyond me.

I really, really wanted to. I have a lot of Spidy comics. But those movies get it all wrong. The characters(all of them) are so way off base it's downright maddening. They pulled the same shit with the Fantastic Four movie.
Oh!!! I didnt even dare to watch FF. I like the comic (not the horrible Ultimate version btw...) somewhat, but somethink seems horribly wrong about that movie.
Don't waste your time. The whole thing sucked, and had a paper thin plot. They never explained WHY they needed to fight Dr. Doom at the climax, or why he was their enemy. They just fought him because the movie couldn't end until they did. Mr Fantastic might as well have been a cardboard cut-out, Jessica Alba just isn't Sue Storm, and all The Thing did was cry about being a rock. Oh, and the Human Torch snowboarding sequence was nauseating. Just listen to some Black Metal for two hours, it will be a far better use of your time.
