Yet another one of my non-metal pleasures (the show Friends) gets its own Hit or Miss poll here.

I voted "Hit" of course. I actually used to have the hots for Lisa Kudrow (or at least Lisa Kudrow during the first two or three seasons - she and Jennifer Aniston haven't aged very well).

I find it average, I mean it doesn't personally offend me but its not really that funny. Then again practically everything on television except The Colbert Report falls into that category =/

I like Chandler's sarcasm and the others have their moments, so hit. I just hate when it gets all sappy and lame. All sitcoms should be about comedy (Seinfeld) and leave the drama crap out.



Seinfeld > all other sitcoms

I say that, I'm no scouser-if I typed my posts like I actually say things it would probably be like:

"Friends is friggin funny etc. I'd give Jennifer Anniston a good beastin/bleedin eck somethin/yeah but (not followed by no but) / what the bloody ell etc."

Lots and lots of things like that. :idea:

Watching it is the equivalent to that scene at the end of Starship Troopers where the guy gets his brains sucked out by the giant catarpillar.

Friends is exactly the kind of thing I normally wouldn't enjoy at all, but I think the gags in it are actually pretty good.

I also love Seinfeld, although I don't get to see it very often and can't afford the DVDs.

I don't think it sucks terribly, but still enough to be a miss. It's funny at times but those times are few and far between and not worth spending time waiting for them.

[edit] I'm with all of you on Seinfeld though. Since it's a show about nothing I guess you could say that literally nothing is as good as Seinfeld.
