4th of July

Ok, since nobody has said anything yet. Happy 4th. I know it only pertains to us filthy Americans...

Anyhoo, my family is throwing a big 4th of July/Engagement/birthday (Independence Day, our engagement, and my grandpa's birthday party in one) party, so I've been running around all day trying to help wherever I can. What is everybody else doing?

Enjoying the quiet, at least the quiet that occured after the morons who live next to me stopped setting off fireworks at 1 a.m. last night. I wouldn't have minded so much, since I was awake anyway, but I live right across from the hospital. That's not cool.

Working, getting home and watching the best game of the World Cup so far and ripping some Gamma Ray bonus tracks from my friend's CDs that I refuse to fork out the money for. Oh wait, this isn't stuff I'm going to do, its stuff I'm doing/have done. Its almost time for bed.

No idea, I just got up. I think everyone is working today...movie day!

The next few days I'm stuck trying to keep a schedule that will allow me to wake up in time to play this stupid show on Thursday. The date and lineup for this thing have been changed like 27 times since they originally planned it. I can't wait to get there and find out it was changed again or some shit.

Lucky for me I didn't own those albums, so I bought the box set years ago for like $80. The bonus tracks aren't all that great anyway, some are great, though.

I went into the seond hand shop the other day and saw a nice thick slab of Gamma Ray albums. I own the original versions of the first 6 and have mp3s of the new guy - someone had traded in the remasters of exact 6 that I own! What are the odds? 6 out of 8?

So yeah I sent one of my friends a text because I knew he'd want them - he did well getting 6 remasters for £30. And it meant I got free bonus tracks.
